We're Here...
We're here and we love it! On Saturday we made a super quick move... I think it was a record. We could only have done it with the help our friends... and the Elders (their our friends, too...) We got a truck all packed, drove 60 miles, and unpacked in like 5 hours... pretty good. The boxes are not unpacked yet. Except the kitchen. That was crucial. So we got the kitchen unpacked, but the books are still in boxes. I've been spending a lot of time at the library this week. The Livermore library is awesome. So many computers and books and DVD's, oh my! It's a great place, and they are very helpful. Church at Sunday was great. We feel so welcome. Tonight is the ward Christmas party... and tomorrow we're going to San Francisco... I've never been and Jon has been promising since we got married that we would go... So tomorrow is the day. More to come.

We're moving!
Yep, that's right. We're moving away from Turlock, Jon's hometown. We've been here since we were married in August as Jon started his own business opening a Chiropractic office. Then about a week and a half ago he received a call from his close friend who is working in a successful office in Livermore, and was offered a position to come work in the office. That happened on Wednesday. Thursday we decided to go to Livermore to check it out on Friday. So, Friday we went down and liked what we saw. We looked for an apartment to live in, but couldn't find one. We went out again on Monday and after much searching we found an apartment we are pretty happy with. We move on Saturday... that's 6 days for those who are counting...
After much thought and prayer we felt it was a better opportunity for us at the moment. We are really excited to go to Livermore. It will be a new and interesting challenge, but we're up for it. We'll be closer to the airport, bay area, and most importantly the Oakland temple.
