Most of you have already heard, and for those that haven't...its true. We're moving to Texas. Jennifer and I have been thinking about this for a long time now. We have loved living in Livermore. Our ward has been great, we've made lots of friends, and its been nice to be near my family. With the move, we'll be moving back towards Jennifer's family and we're both looking forward to that.
Anyone interested in some furniture? =) We've been lightening the load as much as possible. We're only going to take with us our bed, my favorite coffee table, and a chest. We'll put those items and some boxes on truck that is going to ship our stuff for pretty cheap, just a couple hundred dollars. The rest we'll stuff into our cars and head east...ish. We'll be stopping in SLC for a wedding of a buddy of mine and to see some of our friends.
So, two cheers for Livermore. Hooray! Hooray! I think the one thing we'll miss most is our friends. We've had some great ones here. It would have been easy to stay and be happy with those friends and spend weekends and holidays together. But, timing is everything. And its time to go.
Sigh.. I can't say that I'm TOTALLY thrilled about this move, except that it's such a great opportunity for you and that Jenn will be closer to family. HOORAY for exciting newness! PS I'm in LOVE with the new picture on the header!!
ReplyDeletewell i hadn't heard....so i'm glad i stopped by your blog to find out all the going ons in your world. and i'm glad to see you both sporting duke shirts in recently posted pictures. good luck with your move, the unpacking, the acquiring of new stuff, the beginning of a new job (i take it) and living in texas. looking forward to more posts about all the new you are both experiencing.
